The Directors believe that there is a need to have a complete slate of professionals in engineering, architecture, development and construction. This will allow further networking opportunities for all members. IASCE which was founded in 1996 has already provided Networking opportunities to its members as well as the community and intends to do so even more effectively.
The membership committee has taken several initiatives and the Society membership has grown over the past year to 50. Furthermore, the regular monthly meetings as well as special meetings have attracted large audience sometimes more than 70 in attendance. Norooz program hosted approximately 200 people. The Directors believe that the Society needs to work even more on the membership.
The board would like to get the members involvement in marketing the Society. The quarterly newsletter, the Society website, and word of mouth have been out marketing tools so far. We intend to enhance our society and reach out to more professionals.
